(Free-Press-Release.com) January 21, 2012 -- Veteran forensic DNA consultant Mehul B. Anjaria is adding a Chicago, IL presence to his Beverly Hills, CA headquartered firm, MBA DNA Consulting, LLC. Although he presently works on cases nationwide, he wanted to create a second base in a major city. Anjaria obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in biochemistry from the University of Illinois-Chicago before beginning his forensic science career in California where he completed a Master of Science degree in criminalistics.

Anjaria’s firm assists criminal defense attorneys and pro per inmates who serve as their own attorney by reviewing DNA testing results, providing expert witness testimony, observing DNA testing, and assisting in trial preparation. It is Anjaria’s goal to “bridge science and law” so that clients fully understand the true meaning and implications of complicated forensic DNA testing results.

Anjaria grew up near Chicago and has family and friends there. “There is a very healthy demand for my services in southern California and I am confident that the same is true in Chicago. Since I travel to Chicago to visit family and have ties to the city, it seemed logical to also have a business presence in Chicago.” Although the base of MBA DNA Consulting, LLC will remain in Beverly Hills; Chicago-area clients can take advantage of Mr. Anjaria’s expertise without the concern of paying for travel costs associated with out-of-state experts.

MBA DNA Consulting, LLC was founded in 2009 by Anjaria, who has16 years of forensic science experience. He previously worked in law enforcement crime laboratories and co-founded a private forensic DNA testing and consulting laboratory that was California’s first ASCLD/LAB-International accredited DNA laboratory.
