As the terms Hip-Hop and Hip Hop are native to the boroughs of The Bronx and Manhattan, Women from the outer boroughs should not be referred to as "Pioneer Women of Hip Hop." In SouthSide Jamaica Queens and at the "Queensbridge Houses" in Long Island City Queens, Women of Hip Hop never referred to "center jams" and "park jams" as Hip Hop center jams or Hip Hop park jams.

Street DJ's spun, cut, mixed, and blended vinyl records (45 rpm, 33 1/2 rpm, 78 rpm and 12 inch) from various genres of music (created by musicians with traditional instruments), specifically on the "groove" of the record. Spinning vinyl records and catching the downbeat (break) repeatedly constitutes "jamming.". SouthSide Jamaica and Queensbridge Houses never referred to "jamming" as creating Hip Hop. Therefore, there is no valid argument as to whether the Bronx is the birthplace of Hip Hop or not.
