‘Meet the Maker’ Party brings the Best Craftsman to Ellensburg

Flirt, the eastern Washington fashion boutique is bringing the most sought after boot maker to the region, Old Gringo

“Old Gringo Boots will be at the event to answer questions about their boots, and will be designing custom boots on site. They rarely have time to leave their headquarters, making this is a special treat for rodeo and boot enthusiasts alike,” said Mia Peterson, owner of Flirt.

Also in attendance, as part of Flirt’s party is The Ellensburg Distillery. B.W. Figgins Jr. will be at the event speaking with attendees about his award winning ‘Gold Buckle’ whisky, and introducing them to his fine spirits.

Ellensburg WineWorks will complete the impressive line-up, introducing their “Rodeo Red,” a collaborative effort in wine with Camaraderie Cellars that celebrates the history and culture of Ellensburg. Both will be on site to talk about the process of making Rodeo Red.

“This is a fantastic event! We designed our label to reflect the rodeo culture of Ellensburg, and to combine Ellensburg WineWorks with Old Gringo and Ellensburg Distillery shows where the rodeo life is headed," said Matthew Wollen, general manager of Ellensburg WineWorks.

Attendees of the event will mingle with world champion rodeo cowboys & cowgirls, design boots, and can enter to win an autographed gold buckle, or a signed bottle of Rodeo Red. The event will be at Flirt from 5 PM to 9 PM on September 2nd, located at 307 North Main Street in Ellensburg.
