Memphis Based XMC Awarded Chattanooga and North Georgia Territories

Xerox Corporation announced that Memphis-based XMC, Inc. has been awarded new territories in Chattanooga and Northern Georgia. XMC will now serve an additional five counties in Southeast Tennessee and a seven-county North Georgia territory. With this expansion, XMC now serves an area stretching from Little Rock to East Tennessee plus key markets in northern Mississippi and Alabama.

XMC is the second largest Xerox dealer in the United States. This is a remarkable achievement reached in less than 20 years. XMC originated as a subsidiary of an office supply company and initially served only Jackson and surrounding rural West Tennessee. When Bob Hamilton, president and CEO, took full ownership in 1992 he saw the potential of the company and the Xerox product line.

Hamilton’s vision was to expand into multiple markets throughout the Southeast by offering a pleasant customer service experience backed by competent technical support. He believed that XMC could surpass all competitors by providing the quality of service that matched the quality of Xerox equipment.

“Because of our success, we have been offered additional territories,” said Hamilton. “But we have been very careful about the territories we accept. Our company is based on intense customer service and technical support and we make sure we are positioned to deliver before we expand into a new market.”

Among the awards XMC has won are the highest national awards from Xerox including Premier Plus status, the Gold Award of Excellence, President’s Club and Superior Service Award. Most recently, XMC, Inc. was named a Star Seven Top Performer. This award is the top honor for Xerox sales agents and recognizes extraordinary performance and leadership; only 16 out of 400 agencies earn this seven-star ranking.
