Micralyne Inc., a world-renowned, independent MEMS foundry, will be exhibiting at the 2011 Optical Fiber Communication Conference and Exposition (OFC) and the National Fiber Optic Engineers Conference (NFOEC) at the Los Angeles Convention Center, Los Angeles, CA, USA, March 8-10, 2011.
“Micralyne has been a key contributor in the emergence of MEMS components in today’s flexible telecom networks”, says Nancy Fares, President and CEO of Micralyne. “We have invested in core MEMS process technology that will enable further evolution of optical modules and components, as well as speed our customer’s time to market.”
With the constant demand for network flexibility, scalability, and lower operating cost, innovation and technology integration are key requirements to achieve industry-leading products. Micralyne assists its customers in refining their MEMS design and using its existing process technology to provide a high success rate for new device development. Micralyne has successfully manufactured MEMS wavelength selective switch (WSS) and variable optical attenuator (VOA) devices for its customers.
“Component vendors want a MEMS foundry partner with a base of proven process technology, development expertise, and the experience to meet a challenging manufacturing ramp,” says Collin Twanow, Program Manager, Optical MEMS. “Choosing Micralyne as a MEMS development partner will add an experienced MEMS team to your existing capabilities.”
Micralyne is exhibiting in Booth #1847 and are currently scheduling appointments.
