MetalTech-USA Clads VA Medical Center in White River Junction, VT

Atlanta, Georgia, United States of America (Free-Press-Release.com) November 7, 2011 -- The VA Medical Center in White River Junction, VT provides world-class services to Vermont veterans. Therapeutic and diagnostic services like CT scans, orthopedics, podiatry, rehabilitation and oncology are available to patients at this facility.

In the developmental stages, several objectives were clearly defined. How best to create a better patient experience, improve energy efficiency and consolidate work areas were key considerations. The improvements to the White River Junction VA Medical Center will expand access to care for veterans. Portions of the project will involve expansion, new construction and structural renovation.

MetalTech-USA will be cladding the MT Flat Lock wall panel systems for the exterior cladding portion of the structure. The 20-gauge MT Flat Lock contains a blue gray finish. For the building system, MT 304 Stainless Steel Flat Lock clips were also required to provide sound attachment and satisfy performance requirements.

“Meeting the performance requirements for this project was essential,” said Project Manager Patrick Wheble. “In working with our client, we were able to develop the ideal applications capable of demonstrating the durability needed.”

The expansion portion of the project will enable the facility to provide a wider range of services to veterans. Once completed, the residential facility is sure to be an asset to the underserved community of veterans in Vermont.
