Metaphysical Fantasy Novel “Book of Wrath” Available Free Over New Years

(Free-Press-Release.com) December 26, 2011 -- “Book of Wrath”, the first book written by science fiction and fantasy author Robin Coe, will be available during a free promotion on Amazon Kindle over New Years. On New Years day, the full novel will be available free in Kindle format. The special edition “Illustrated Book of Wrath” will be available free on January 1st and 2nd 2012.

“It starts out really dark, and by chapter three I bring in a Madame Bathory like character that makes it almost like a horror novel,” Coe said.

The novel uses the riders of the apocalypse from Revelations in the Bible as the central characters known as Wraths. One of the Wraths, Famine, is sick of his job and wants to find a way to leave the system. However, it's questionable whether he can change the preexisting order. While the book uses characters from the bible, it also adds other religious philosophies, mythologies and old tales to the mix, as well.

“This novel starts out dark because Famine, War and Pestilence aren't about light and happiness. These are very real and terrible things that humanity has to deal with,” Coe said.

She said the novel isn't all about the darkness in the world, though.

“Half way through the novel characters like Love, Passion, Hope and Freedom begin to take the stage. These characters have a huge influence on Famine and the change he hungers for,” Coe said.

The full Kindle edition is available free on New Years day and the illustrated version on January 1st and 2nd 2012. After that, it will be available through the new year at .99 cents and the special edition for $1.99 on Amazon.
