DEARBORN, Mich. – October 23, 2009 – Metro Home Health Care, a leading provider of a full range of home health care services, recently was recognized by 2009 Detroit Free Press as a Top Workplace. This is the second consecutive year that it has been recognized among the top five employers in the small company category. The 2009 Detroit Free Press Top Workplaces were chosen based on a survey conducted for the Free Press by Pennsylvania-based WorkplaceDynamics. According to the Detroit Free Press, the survey drew responses from 32,363 employees at 173 employers throughout southeast Michigan. Employees were asked to rate their organization's performance according to 23 distinct statements designed to evaluate the company's direction, ability to execute its business plan, leadership, career development, work conditions and pay and benefits. According to the completed survey responses, Metro Home Health Care’s workplace strengths were determined to be in the following categories: Direction, Execution and Managers.
