MFI International, key speaker at the “Selling to the Mexico’s Maquiladora Industry" seminar

El Paso, Texas, United States of America (Free-Press-Release.com) March 9, 2011 -- El Paso, TX - March 9, 2011 - The U.S. Commercial Service hosted a seminar entitled “Selling to the Mexico's Maquiladora Industry” on February 10 and 11 2011. The seminar, held in San Antonio and Houston, Texas, provided an overview of selling to the Mexican maquiladora industry. Company representatives from Juarez, Mexico presented information on trade opportunities in the area as well as logistics and legal considerations.

The procurement process for U.S. suppliers

Financing exports to Mexico’s maquilas
Tomas Mena, from MFI International , was one of the guest speakers at the seminar. Mena, who spoke on the overall trade opportunities in Juarez, joined the Chihuahua State Economic Development department during the seminar.

He has the experience of establishing and maintaining profitable government alliances due to his extensive local government networks as former President of the Maquiladora Association in Ciudad Juarez Chihuahua (AMAC) and Vice President of the National Council for the Maquiladora Industry (CNIMME).
