MFRM announced today its financial results for the fiscal 2011 third quarter (thirteen weeks) ended November 1, 2011. Mattress Firm reported net revenues of $183.5 million for the third quarter, compared to $130.7 million in the same period of the prior year ended November 2, 2010, an increase of $52.8 million, or 40.4%. For the quarter, gross profit improved 52.1% to $73.4 million, compared to the same period of the prior year. For the quarter, earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization and other adjustments (“Adjusted EBITDA”) was $27.3 million, compared to $16.4 million in the same period of the prior year, an increase of $10.9 million, or 66.7%.

WCA Waste Corporation (NASDAQ:WCAA)

WCAA announced today that it has entered into an agreement and plan of merger with Macquarie Infrastructure Partners II ("MIP II"), a leading North American infrastructure investment fund. Under the terms of the agreement, MIP II will acquire all of the outstanding common stock of WCA for $6.50 per share in cash, redeem all Series A preferred stock and either partially or completely refinance WCA's existing credit facilities. The transaction is valued at approximately $526 million. The purchase price represents a premium of 30% over WCA's closing stock price on December 20, 2011.

WCAA is an integrated company engaged in the collection, transportation, processing and disposal of non-hazardous solid waste. Aehr Test Systems (NASDAQ:AEHR)

AEHR announced today receipt of an order in excess of $1 million for its advanced ABTSTM high power burn-in system from one of the world's largest semiconductor manufacturers. The system is expected to ship this fiscal year.
