Top Gun Basketball League is an AAU league, directors and coaches are nationally certified coaches from the American Sports Educational Program, ASEP. We are committed to the safety of all members.

Top Gun Basketball League is the fastest growing recreational basketball program in the Miami Area. Why? Top Gun Basketball League is unique. We pride ourselves on a friendly atmosphere while giving our South Florida youth and adults 2 League to play at "South East or South West", 4 different competitive playing divisions including corporate teams. We strive to bring a unique game play that will give the experience of a life time to our members. Our leagues are different than any other due to our drive to emulate the professional sports leagues. We pride ourselves in creating the same magical feel the NBA brings to their players and fans. The excitement, fun and numerous events throughout each season, to be one of the most acclaimed leagues in our area. All of our leagues feature written commentary on games, full team & individual player stats, game uniforms, referees, league rule book and even a message board for banter among players.

4 Divisions available:
- Juniors (ages: 8,9,10)
- Junior Varsity (ages: 11,12,13,14)
- Varsity (ages: 15,16,17)
- Adults (ages: 18 & Up)


How Are We Different from Other League's?

We teach concepts, not just skills...

To play the game intelligently, players must not only be able to dribble, pass, and shoot well; they must also understand conceptually how to dribble productively, why its important to throw a sure pass rather than a maybe pass, and the difference (objectively) between a good shot and a poor shot, and many other concept-based tactics that apply to each of these skills. An understanding of the conceptual underpinnings of these skills separates highly skilled, but ineffective players from highly skilled, conceptually sound and effective players. Good coaches know and value this important distinction. At Top Gun Basketball League, players will be taught skills in the context of a sound, concept-based basketball value system. Players spend quality learning time on the court. They are learning, not merely playing. What the athletes learn will be immediately reinforced on the court in carefully designed drills to increase the likelihood that the concepts will “take” in these game-like practice situations. One of the most enjoyable experiences for us is to see taught concept become a “click moment” habit on the court. Your Top Gun Basketball League Season experience is unique. It is more than just a season league.
