Michael Mesa Miami was born on October 24th 1958. He was the 2nd of five children to Fernandez Mesa and Margaret Steins. His parents were farmers of an interior country side. Hence he had a tough time during his child hood. He was very interested on reading. He collected as many books he could from the small local library in his village. Michelle was a bright student. He managed to walk kilometers to have his schooling. After his schooling, he managed a scholarship to Florida International University. There he got the chance to read world renowned classic literatures. Michael Mesa Miami

had a passion for writing also. It was during his college days that he started writing. After completing his college education, he returned back to his native. Michael joined as a teacher in the village school. Along with that he started his writing career. At first he wrote articles on the socio economic background of his own village. Later he started writing short stories for local magazines. Michael was a best teacher too. He did many things to improve the standards of the school where he taught. He was an encouraging teacher. He started a personal library at his home with the books he had as his own. Thus he opened an opportunity for his village people to have an access to the modern literature. He was a social worker too. Michael always worked for the down trodden mass. As the son of a farmer, he knew the difficulties of the common village man. He married Caroline Moses, who was his college mate. Caroline was a supporting wife. She too took classes and joined him in his ventures for the poor people of his society. He wrote columns in news paper on the life of village people. It received public attention and many organizations came forward to help the couples in their campaign to uplift the people. Michael passed away in 2007 because of cancer.
