Michaela Clarke set to release debut CD in February, 2012

Michaela Clarke began piano at the age of 11 and at the age of 14 began playing guitar. By the age of 16 she developed her first 5 song EP. She also played shows around her area.

Michaela is happy to announce the release of her debut CD titled “Long Gone” in February 2012. The lead single with the same title is about an individual in a relationship who leaves the union leaving the other confused and mislead. The energy around this single is a soft mid-tempo bittersweet tale which highlights the authors writing style and abilities. It has a country feel to it with catchy choruses with a glorious musical arrangement.

Michaela’s music has that signature country twang but has plenty of pop beautifully blended in. Her music is a plethora of sounds to capture the essence of a song. The ability to deliver that experience to audiences is a talent all onto itself. She claims that her style has changed over the years as do audiences tastes. But with every change brings a new excitement and a new adventure keeping her audiences loyal and luring in new fans every day. Her music is very relatable, memorable and sustainable in this industry. Michaela Clarke's debut CD “Long Gone” is scheduled for release in February, 2012 in both physical and digital formats.

Michaela Clarke has opened for the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band in October 2010, Julian Austin in November, 2010. She also plays the Blue Chair Café’ in Edmonton and plans to tour to promote her upcoming CD.
