Michigan Lawyers Weekly Recognizes John V. Byl as Leader in the Law

Grand Rapids, Michigan, United States of America (Free-Press-Release.com) February 24, 2012 -- Grand Rapids, Michigan, February 23, 2013 – John V. Byl, a partner with the law firm Warner Norcross & Judd LLP, has been recognized by Michigan Lawyers Weekly as one of its 2012 Leaders in the Law.

Byl concentrates his practice on environmental law and economic incentives. He is currently the co-chair of the firm’s Economics Incentives Group and chair of the Michigan Chapter of the National Brownfield Association. He will be honored March 15 during the fourth annual Leaders in the Law luncheon in Troy.

Byl has received numerous honors during his career. He is recognized in Best Lawyers in America and Michigan Super Lawyers, earning top Grand Rapids honors in both. He is the vice chair of the national board of the National Brownfields Association. Byl is the past chair of the Environmental Law Section of the State Bar of Michigan and the past chair of the West Michigan Air and Waste Management Association. He is also a member of the American Bar Association and Grand Rapids Bar Association.

He lectures regularly on a wide variety of environmental and economic incentive topics throughout the state.
