Starring Aaron Jackson (NBC California Dreams, Lorenzo's Oil) and DJ Perry (Wicked Spring, Miracle at Sage Creek) Heaven’s Neighbors briefly explores the lives of two young men afflicted with schizophrenia, and the doctors who care for them. The halfway house inhabitants and their doctors, which are the central focus of the film, are equally unpredictable and unbalanced and the viewer is brought into their personal struggles and the dreams they manage to cling to. The two leads reveal their painful life stories through counseling sessions, unsupervised adventures and intriguing encounters, and it is through these experiences that they begin to discover life outside the clinic and a renewed hope for living.

HEAVEN’S NEIGHBORS, was produced by the Lansing-based production company, Collective Development, Inc., (CDI) and was directed by Jeffrey Kennedy (Figure in the Forest, Ordinary Killer). The creative ensemble consisting of director/writer, Jeffrey Kennedy, producers, DJ Perry and Curtis Hall, composer, Dennis Therrian and a cast and crew of predominantly Michigan residents, joined together to create a truly compelling story of hope, perseverance, loyalty and friendship.
