FLAVORENES are specially designed to release flavorings and other additives to any food or beverage when the microcapsules are exposed to a specific activating agent. These agents can be liquids, gases, changes in pH or temperature, tactile contact and countless other release mechanisms that may be tailored to a specific application. Examples may include but are not limited to, substrates such as drip coffee filters in any embodiment or the interior wall of any disposable container such as a paper cup.
