The app brand entitled MicroHeroes allows users to interact with inspirational cartoon animated heroes of the past, listening to their spoken quotations, seeking advice, playing with them and learning about their heroic lives.

With bright colours, realistic voices and melodic sound effects, the beautiful characters come to life. Initial heroes launching in the first edition of MicroHeroes include MicroChurchill, MicroGandhi, MicroLincoln, MicroShakespeare and MicroConfucius with many more scheduled to come after that.

The app is suitable for everyone seeking enlightenment, fun and education simultaneously, from school children to adults who seek wisdom and inspiration from their heroes.

The developers say that the interactive nature of the app will allow users to befriend these heroes like never before. They can hear famous quotes and speeches, ask for advice and get a personal response, in addition to a trivia game and written biographies. Fans testing the app in the development stage have said “it is like having the most influential people in history at hand, to advise you and inspire you when times are good or bad.”



The app is set to launch initially on the Android platform with plans to port to the iPhone soon after. Android fans and bloggers are eagerly awaiting the release of the first five characters next month.
