Suffering from migraine!
When someone have migraine headaches the stress levels increase several folds. Why? Because the sufferer is unable to do anything against it. People don't like to loose control over things like headaches. We are used to pop a pill and get rid of the symptom. Not with migraines tho! Migraines are unstoppable once it's full blown. When you have the feeling of the migraine will be coming on, you are starting to have anxiety, and anxiety is nothing else but fear of the unknown. Speculation ahead of events.
Stress will develop, partially because of this fear and partially, because you know you are not able to controll the headache. This stress puts strain on the brain and the heart, will effect breathing and heart attack could develope.
Researchers were able to show that migraine headaches can actually cause a heart attack. Psychologycal events become physical simply because of anxiety and fear.
How can we control migraines? Prevention! That's the only way to controll it.
Most of us migraine sufferers know it is hard to prevent it because many many events combined trigger the migraines. Foods, the environment, habits, etc. Where to start with the prevention? What foods need to be eliminated? What habits needs to be changed? What environment causing it? How to research all that? Especially when you only have just a few days free of migraines, before the next one starts. To find an all in one prevention would be an answer.
Almost anything a migraine sufferer do is under stress because they are afraid of when the next attack starts.
While I was a migraine sufferer, that was always on my mind. Now that I am completely free of migraines (thanx to the treatment I am on) I can look back and see the fear I had every day in my life and sometimes I get a shudder thinking about it. Those terrible days for over 40 years. It feels really good to know, I am not going to wake up to another series of migraine headaches no matter what I eat or do, or whatever the environment might be.
Have I found the all in one prevention?
