Milton Keynes Brothers Spark A Name Change Frenzy Both In The UK And Overseas

(Free-Press-Release.com) September 24, 2009 -- A Milton Keynes man and his soldier brother have sparked a name change chain reaction both in the UK and Germany after officially calling themselves ‘Tuna Mayonnaise’ and ‘Dwayne Pipe’.

21 year old Adam Johnson who is currently serving in Germany with the British Army decided to change his name to ‘Dwayne Pipe’ by Deed Poll after being egged on by his friends, which has encouraged not only his fellow soldiers to change their names, but also his 24 year old brother Ben Johnson who is the MD of a software firm in Milton Keynes.

Ben who jumped on the name change bandwagon after hearing about his brother’s new moniker, said, “Last Thursday my brother was in his room and thought it would be amusing to change his name whilst in the army. After talking to his friends he came up with the name ‘Dwayne Pipe’, which has caused much amusement in the barracks especially when it came to altering his name badge.

“I decided to join him and although I nearly chose the name Peregrine Falcon, I eventually settled on ‘Tuna Mayonnaise’- for no other reason than I had just eaten it for lunch that day!”

Ben who hasn’t yet told his family, only his friends, added, “We have not told our mum yet but she will definitely find it funny, our friends on the other hand all thought we were mental, until they too started considering changing their names.”

The brothers changed their names with online Deed Poll provider The Legal Deed Service, who ecently changed the names of the Big Brother Housemates to ‘Halfwit’ and ‘Dogface’, for a fee of just £10.
