(Source: WTFMN Steering Committee)…On Thursday, October 13, 2011 from 12-noon to 1 p.m. the local chapter of the White House initiative Winning the Future will launch Winning the Future Minnesota in downtown Minneapolis at inside of the beautiful IDS Center Crystal Court.

Winning the Future Minnesota is a team building, source driven program designed to have a number of local forums and think tanks with local businesses and community development organizations to address the creation of innovative ways to help build the economy by focusing on business and the role small business plays in job creation.

This is also an opportunity for members of the community from all walks of life to address the current needs in Minnesota including Broadband Technology, Business Financing, Diplomacy and Government Solutions by coming up with plans in simple clarity to assist in closing the gaps, which will be part of Winning the Future for generations.

This is an opportunity to get your solution heard by the people in Washington, DC.

A series of forums will be held around the state of Minnesota with representatives from the White House, local businesses and community members with solid expertise in his/her fields of study or research.

The first forum will be held Friday, October 28, 2011 from 9:00 a.m. – 4 p.m.; the second forum will be held Wednesday, November 16, 2011 – 9:00 a.m. – 4 p.m. – both forums will take place at the Hubert H. Humphrey School of Public Affairs Conference Center located at 301 19th Ave. S., Minneapolis, MN 55455.
