St Charles, MO, February 4, 2011- Favazza & Associates, LLC Certified Public Accountants and Business Consultants were awarded the 2010 Small Business of the Year award at the Northwest Chamber of Commerce annual awards ceremony on Thursday January 13th 2011. The ceremony was held at Harrah’s Casino. This award is given to small businesses that show their contributions to their community by helping local businesses through volunteer, financial, and educational efforts. Favazza & Associates, LLC has continued to grow their business by servicing small businesses in the community and offering consulting and financial education to local business owners. Their volunteer efforts have not gone unnoticed.

Amy J. Smith, Director of Business Development and Public Relations for Favazza & Associates, LLC serves on the Executive Board of the Chamber of Commerce and is the Chairperson for the Marketing and Public Relations Committee for the 3rd year in a row.

The Marketing and Public Relations Committee that Amy Smith chairs successfully launched the Chamber’s new website and phone app which has features that allows its members to access all members with a single touch on their smart phones.
