MLAX: Pride Unveil Warrior Footwear For 2012 Season

(Free-Press-Release.com) January 30, 2012 -- The Hofstra-Warrior Burn 5.0 Lacrosse Cleats feature a glossy white exterior with a blue and gold checker print interior. Warriors' Vapor tek moisture management liner will keep the feet of Pride players dry in any condition. The bottom of the shoe has 14 lightweight TPU blue and gold molded cleats for superior traction. The tongue of the cleats sport the Hofstra graphic logo while the heel of the shoe has Hofstra spelled out vertically.

The game shoes are part of a business partnership between Hofstra and Warrior that will outfit the Pride in Warrior equipment through the 2015 season. The comprehensive, exclusive agreement will provide the Pride with several sets of game uniforms, warm-ups and sideline apparel, practice gear, balls, sticks and the latest in gloves, shoulder and rib pads, arm guards, goalie chest pads, equipment and travel bags, and custom Warrior training shoes and speed cleats over the life of the contract. In addition, the Hofstra team will be wearing Warrior helmets beginning in 2013. The Hofstra Lacrosse program will also serve as a testing and research center for Warrior’s latest equipment.
