Martin Luther King, Jr. Day Celebration Events Scheduled
SPOKANE – This year’s Martin Luther King, Jr. Day Celebration theme is “His Hope, His Dream: Our Responsibility.” Events begin January 14, 2012 and conclude January 16. The program of activities includes:

Saturday, Jan. 14- Hear the Dream, Feel the Hope: A Musical Celebration
6-8 pm. Calvary Baptist Church, 203 E. Third Ave.

Sunday, Jan. 15- Guest Speaker: Reverend Dr. Stephen J. Thurston
4-6 pm. Holy Temple Church, 806 W. Indiana Ave.
Pastor, New Covenant Missionary Baptist Church of Chicago
President, National Baptist Convention of America, Inc. International

Monday, Jan. 16- Unity March
10 am. INB Performing Arts Center, 334 W. Spokane Falls Blvd.

11 a.m.-2 p.m. Community Resource Fair
1st & 2nd Floors, Riverpark Square

11 a.m.-2 p.m. Children’s Activity Fair
2nd Floor, STA Bus Plaza
