Human nature is such that people simply do not like change. Even if the changes are in the best interests of the Distributors and even if the Distributors are destined to make more money, it makes no difference. Once people get accustomed to certain things, any type of change in corporate structure, or compensation plan changes represents instability in a company and people simply don't like it - it's just human nature.

No matter which way you slice it, as soon as there are changes, people start to feel unstable. They feel like their entire livelihood and careers are potentially on shaky grounds, so their bodies go into semi-shock. Little says that this won't be the first time that a merger or acquisition takes place in the industry, or that a marketing plan changes - and it's always to be expected that about 50% of the people will not like the changes when they are made. Typically when this happens, a certain percentage of the reps will quit and another percentage will start to look for a new home.
