FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
(Free-Press-Release.com) September 18, 2011 --
Fastest Turbo FIre Engine (FTFE), Minneapolis, MN has agreed to lend their song "Close to Home" to Plug NPlay and it's students to help celebrate the world's first student built all electric 1938 Ford rat rod that uses plug-in power, wind and fuel for power.
Students will have the chance to plan and produce a time lapse video of the entire weekend project from a rusty hulk of a frame to a fully function rat rod - ready for shows and classrooms.
The video will be posted to YouTube later the following week.
Plug NPlay will be offering their first Innovation Weekend to Webelos and Boys Scouts from ages 11 to 18 - October 7, 8 and 9, 2011 with a choice of over 20 merit badge classes to study from. All of the choices are themed around one goal - to complete an electrically powered rat rod that uses plug-in, solar and wind for fuel.
The final project will also be available to teachers for classroom discussions (K - 12) and over 12 shows each year (over 2 million spectators). Other events will be planned in April, June, July and October of 2012 that will expand the experience to even more students.
