As wireless applications for emergency responders and public safety professionals multiply, many users are finding it difficult to juggle the number of per-vehicle installation. Mobile Mark offers a solution which provides a lower total cost by reducing the number of installation and by reducing the downtime for those installations.

The SMW Series Multiband Surface-Mount Antennas provide simultaneous operations on a variety of bands within one antenna. This antenna is perfect formobile data communications.covering traditional UHF communications along with WiFi and GPS.

The latest addition, the SMW-310 Series offers three separate cable feeds. Each cable feed corresponds to a separate modem: GPS, UHF and WiFi 2.4 GHz. The UHF antenna covers 450-470 MHz range.

These Multiband Antennas offer tremendous flexibility for mobile data communications. According to Ken Lukowski, VP Sales, “The SMW Series antennas have been very popular for both Commercial and Public Safety Fleet Management applications. The Public Safety community asked us to add a UHF element and we are pleased to be able to introduce the SMW-310 Series at the upcoming APCO 2011 conference.” A typical SMW-310 installation combines GPS for positioning, WiFi for Video Surveillance and UHF for voice and mobile data communications.

The SMW antennas are enclosed in a weather-proof radome, supplied with all mounting hardware and sealing gasket. They can be mounted to any vehicle, cargo container or trailer. These antennas offer the ultimate in flexibility for any combination of mobile data communications.
