- 81% of users said that when looking for information on their mobile device, they need it instantaneously.
- 66% of mobile users said they are more likely to ask timely questions when they are not in front of their computer.
- 40% of smartphone users say they are more swayed by users’ opinions given within the last 24 hours than by those expressed a month ago.
- This number increases significantly in the 18-24 age bracket, jumping to 67%.

- While 55% reported interest in searching for local reviews on a mobile device, 68% reported a desire to know whether a restaurant is busy at that moment.
- 63% reported the current tone of the crowd was important when choosing their destination.
- More then a third of smartphone users need local information most often while driving their cars, so they need hands-free functions to stay safe and legal in many states.
- 40% of smartphone users wish they could have found out more about what was happening when they saw a crowd.

I think this survey shows that people crave information while on the go and if your business isn’t catering to the on-the-go customer and giving them a seamless and pleasant mobile experience, you WILL lose them to your competition who is giving them a pleasant, user friendly mobile experience.
