MobilePath Wireless Services (MPWS) of Toronto to market the CDRator A/S MVNE/MVNO platform in the Americas

(Free-Press-Release.com) May 13, 2011 -- CDRator A/S (www.cdrator.com) of Denmark, and MobilePath Wireless Services (MPWS) of Toronto, Canada, announced the formal signing of a Mutual Co-operation agreement whereby MPWS will both represent and market the CDRator A/S MVNE/MVNO Platform in the Americas.

This Co-operation Agreement brings together a consortium with:
1. International Experience Marketing & Sales Operations gained in launching MVNO’s in numerous territories
2. Technology Integration & Deployment Experience form both sides of the Atlantic

3. Its own Customer Care centre based in North America as well as support Experience facilities

The agreement was underpinned by the signing of an MOU for CDRator to provide their platform to an group of Canadian Cable companies for a “Multiband” MVNE to be managed by MPWS. Darcy McDonald (CEO of MPWS) commented “ with this facility participating small and regional Cable companies will now have an opportunity to compete against the major cellular network operators - to keep their customers, achieve economies of scale, share resources and share technology - while preserving their identity, brand and leveraging the incumbent MNO’s current cellular network - at a much lower cost than a traditional individual MVNO approach.”

Both companies see this as the first step to introducing the CDRator A/S full service product offering to the American marketplace initially in Canada, then expanding into The USA and the rest of the Americas to service the growing number of opportunities where a number of forecasts estimate up to 12% of total mobile subscribers will be provided by MVNO’s within 5 years.
