Mobinex' Smartface Designer is the Platform of Choice for Turkcell "Uygulamalar Yarisiyor" Contest

The contest will also allow the developers to reach millions of Turkcell users with their mobile applications.

The aim of the contest is to increase the number of local mobile applications, to enrich the local developer ecosystem with new players, and to promote entrepreneurship in Turkey. The developers will be able to enter the contest with mobile applications ranging in diversified categories, such as finance, healthcare, distance learning, location based, and social. Contestants will also be able to develop their applications on Android, BlackBerry, iPhone, Java, Symbian, and Windows Mobile platforms.

The jury consists of leaders from the information and communication technologies of the country and will award the winners with cash prizes and scholarships. The first prize is 20,000 TL, the second is 10,000 TL, and the third is 5,000 TL. There is another 5,000 TL for the best two applications in the healthcare category.

Mobinex as a Turkcell Tecnology Partner is offering a BlackBerry 9700 Onyx mobile phone as an award for the best application developed on its Smartface Platform using its Smartface Designer in the contest.
