Electro Standards Laboratories, Cranston, RI, has just developed its new Model 9067 RJ45 10/100Base-T A/B Switch System. Each Model 9067 switch module allows the user to switch a device connected to the COMMON port between devices connected to ports A or B. Up to eight of the switch modules can be housed in one Model 9025 Rack Chassis. Modules with various switch functions can be added to this system as the requirements develop. The Rackmount chassis supports multiple switch modules with various widths. Filler panels cover empty slots and provide a neat appearance.

The Model 9067 CAT5 A/B switch is manually operated from the front panel. All 8 pins of the RJ45 interface are switched making this switch ideal for switching any RJ45 interfaced device. This switch module incorporates a high-quality sealed switch with self-wiping precious metal contacts. The switch is rated for 10/100Base-T networks up to CAT5. The attractive and durable anodized aluminum packaging provides EMI/RFI shielding. No external power is required to operated this manual switch.
