Moe's Original Bar B Que's newest location will open at 675 30th Street in Boulder, Colorado on Tuesday, January 31st at 11am. From 'Bama, via Vail Valley to Boulder, Moe's Original Bar B Que is bringing the southern soul food revival their customers crave. In ten years, Moe's Original Bar B Que has grown from a junkyard pit to 18 successful restaurants with locations in AL, CO, GA and NC. Creating a profitable family of restaurants, Moe's Original Bar B Que's founders have brought in partners who share their philosophy of a strong work ethic, a respect for the business plan, and a love of BBQ. Even in this economy, the company is growing at an aggressive, yet manageable pace by not opening cookie-cutter restaurants.

Much like perfecting the recipes passed down for generations, there is a tremendous sense of pride that goes into creating the atmosphere of Moe's Original Bar B Que. With a capacity of 75, the newest Boulder location has incorporated a good bit of refurbished and recycled materials. "We are giving new life to beetle kill trees from property in Evergreen, windows from a mountain cabin, and tables and chairs from restaurants past," said owner Mike Shelly. "We have also brought some refurbished ski chairs from some of Colorado's ski hills in from the cold." There is a rustic, woody and comforting feel to the space with a clear separation between the family dining and bar top seating along the open air windows. The 16 seat patio allows a lucky few to enjoy the awesome Colorado weather while mowing through a plate of Moe's Original Bar B Que.

Moe's Original Bar B Que features award-winning Bama-style pulled pork, ribs, wings, turkey and chicken smoked over hardwood served with two unique sauces in addition to Catfish, Mahi Mahi and a Shrimp Moe-Boy sandwich. Additionally, eight to ten traditional Southern sides and tasty desserts are served daily. Large party takeout orders and full service catering with delivery are also available. Moe's Original Bar B Que was founded in 2001 in Vail, CO by Alabama natives Mike Fernandez, Ben Gilbert and Jeff Kennedy.
