Tier 1: LEED Green Associate Plus: 2-day certificate program issued by the GBCI
This two-day course prepares beginning green building professionals to pass the Green Building Certification Institute's (GBCI) LEED Green Associate exam. It presents the core concepts of sustainable design and all 9 LEED® Green Building Rating Systems®. Passing this first exam prepares an attendee for the LEED AP+ status referred to as "Tier Two." The program will also provide information on State or Federal utility programs, tax credits and incentives. Energy Star Performance for Homes and Commercial Buildings is cursorily reviewed to understand its contribution toward a LEED certification for a building. Included in the course is the textbook, practice exams, practice exam books and supplementary handouts.

Tier 2: LEED Green Building Design & Construction-V3: 2-day certificate program issued by the GBCI
Learn all three LEED® Green Building Rating Systems™- New Construction, Core & Shell and Schools (k-12)- which were developed by the USGBC. Upon completion of the course you will walk away with an education in the Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED®) The v3 is the newest version of the LEED green building certification system. This new version builds upon the fundamental structure and familiarity of the existing rating system, but provides a new structure for making sure the rating system incorporates new technology and addresses the most urgent priorities like energy use and CO2 emissions. This course is one of the most detailed and thorough study prep course available; our instructor and preparation methods will best prepare you for the BD + C exam. The textbook that we have written for you is the most precise and easy to understand study guide available. We will provide study techniques, along with a visual connection created with our professional PowerPoint presentation to get you ready to pass the BD + C exam.
