Mommies Go Green & Save Money with Children’s Consignment Sales

Freeman has created ConsignmentMommies.com, a new social network and directory that offers tools & advice about seasonal consignment sales. Freeman started the site in 2009 after becoming a sale addict herself. “I was totally skeptical when my mom furnished her “grandma nursery” with consignment sale finds. Then, I went to my first sale. And my second. And I was addicted.”

ConsignmentMommies.com is the “baby” of mother-daughter team Chrissy Freeman and Shari Kilgariff. And it is growing. Fast. During the peak of the 2009 season, the site received thousands of pageviews each day with listings in just two markets. As the spring season approaches, the site is receiving an average of 20-30 new sale listings each day.
