Monalisa Okojie, Nigerian Native, showcased newest Nehita collection at I Wear Africa Fashion Show.

(Free-Press-Release.com) May 9, 2011 -- Jewelry designer to the stars, Monalisa Okojie unveiled her newest and hottest collection at African Vibes Magazine 5th Anniversary “I Wear Africa Fashion Show.” The event transformed The Avalon nightclub in Hollywood into the ultimate contemporary African glam experience.

The latest collection that was released was yet again composed of the finest gold’s, conflict free diamonds and pearls. The all pearl collection had standard white, black and gray pearls along with the tradition usage of colors that Monalisa loves to use. The collection also incorporated signature pieces that utilized a blend of pearls with colored gemstones and diamonds. Monalisa also showcased her men’s collection of dog tags, chains and bracelets.

Unlike last year’s Nehita Coral Collection, Monalisa went for a more elegant yet chic look. Considering pearls are a piece of jewelry that is always in need and never goes out of style, Monalisa wanted to demonstrate how they could transform any outfit. With designs ranging from single strand, to multiple strands, to chokers mixed with pastels, blacks, gray and gold colors the collection had the audience in aw through the entire show.

Along with Monalisa, there were six other designers who also release their collections including, Wawi Amasha, Princess Latifat Momodu-Lamoliatte, Oyin Ayoola, Joseph Ntomp Cameroonian, Solome Katongole.
