FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
(Free-Press-Release.com) December 9, 2011 -- As a firm that shares its resources for the greater good of the community, The Pillars has extended the offer of full tuition to The West Island Palliative Care Centre. Specifically, the Pillars will reserve one seat in each class for a staff member of the WIPCR.

The Pillars, a Montreal based management consulting firm specializing in Organizational Development and Human Relations has recently launched their learning and development department called Pillars University. At Pillars U, those in management and executive positions of small and medium size business learn the art and science of communication and leadership.

The Senior Partners of The Pillars believe strongly that the people who run organizations must be fully trained in the art and science of communication and leadership if the organization is going to succeed in 2012 and beyond. Those who have dedicated their lives to working in the healthcare system are often under exposed to this kind of training and development because funding is invested in other resources.

The WIPCC has a very special place in the healthcare system because it is where people live the precious last days of their lives. Here they are cared for by people who are committed to ensuring the peace and comfort of the patients as well as that of the families.

The healthcare system in Canada is a service that is sacred to Canadians and so Canadians must be creative in how we preserve it and help it to thrive. As business owners, the senior partners of The Pillars are fully dedicated to sharing their knowledge and resources in this way to make a meaningful and valuable contribution to the people and therefore, to the system. This contribution will surely benefit those who participate directly and then naturally, it will benefit their colleagues, the patients, the families and the system at large. The Pillars feel privileged to share their services, resources and knowledge with the WIPCC and to be in a position to make meaningful contribution to a precious Canadian system.
