Motivational Speaker Ernesto Caravantes Bridges Gaps Between Los Angeles’ Minority Youth

Motivational Speaker and Best-Selling Author Ernesto Caravantes is bridging the gap of cultural differences one youth at a time. Caravantes, who is known for speaking and writing about cross-cultural issues, education and literacy, spoke with a group of Chinese and Latino high school students earlier this month. His presentation was held at the Los Angeles’ Chinatown Service Center.

“The youth of Chinatown are very diverse and they all have different cultures,“ says Caravantes. “I was able to acknowledge their cultural differences and show them that they have many similarities as well.”

Caravantes spoke to roughly 40 teens from the greater Chinatown area of Los Angeles. With the room full of culturally diverse youth, Caravantes engaged them in various activities that allowed them to open up and share their thoughts, concerns and realize the importance of respect. “They were a great group and I feel that they will go on to make great changes in their community. “

Caravantes is taking his inspirational talks to colleges campuses, conferences and community centers across the country.
