Mount Royal Printing announces G7 Certification!

(Free-Press-Release.com) November 4, 2009 -- GRACoL 7 is the latest certification and recommendation for quality sheetfed printing that MRP subscribes. The GRACoL specification offers guidelines for common commercial printing unlike the ubiquitous SWOP [ Specifications for Web Offset Publications] print conditions which describe magazine (publication) printing. G7 refers to a print calibration process.

If proofs are produced in a color managed environment and G7™ is applied to control the neutral print density curves, and if a printer such as MRP likewise employs color management along with G7™, then we have closed the loop of factors determining visual appearance for our customers. Customers are beginning to request printing that meets G7 specifications. Graphic communications operations around the country have taken measures to implement G7, assuring a remarkable visual match between the proof and the final print product.
