Coquitlam, BC, October 28, 2009. The Gaby Davis Foundation is holding an "UP" movie night fundraiser on Friday November 13, 2009 at 6:30pm at 4250 Shaughnessy Street, Port Coquitlam BC (Coquitlam River Elementary School) to commemorate Gaby's 10th birthday. Gaby's wish to help families who have children with cancer has become a reality thanks to fundraising events and generous donors over the past 2 years. Since it's inception in 2007 the foundation has helped 11 children with cancer and their families with financial grants and everyday necessity items such as grocery and fuel gift cards. "Each family we have helped has been overwhelmingly touched by the foundation's assistance," says Tanya Davis, President of the Gaby Davis Foundation, but also Gaby's mom. She goes on to say, "We are honoured that we can share in their cancer journey, and it's all because of Gaby's big heart and thoughtfulness. But there are so many more families that need our help."

The movie shown will be Disney/Pixar's "UP", so bring your blankets, pillows, PJ's and slippers for a fun night at the movies. Tickets are $5 each, doors open at 6:30pm and the movie starts at 7:30pm. There will be popcorn, treats, face painting and ticket holders can have a chance to get their photo with Olympic torch bearer, Stephen Unser and the Olympic torch!

Call 604-464-GABY (4229) to reserve tickets or advance purchase at Play Paradise, 2020 Oxford Connector, Port Coquitlam.

hilarious, and heartfelt adventure impeccably crafted and told with wit and depth. Rated: G Length: 96 minutes
