Muhammad Ali, (a.k.a. Cassius Clay), performed on the world stage for over 20 years. He was 3 times World Heavyweight Champion and made a total of 19 title defences. He is universally regarded as the fastest heavyweight of all time and no one will forget the many historic nights in the ring including 'Ali v Liston', 'The Fight of the Century', ‘The Rumble in the Jungle’ and ‘The Thrilla in Manila'.

But Ali became loved for far more than just his boxing artistry. He was one of the most compelling figures of the 20th century becoming the most recognisable man on the planet. He charmed the world with his charisma and rapier wit; he became a symbol of civil rights and the anti-Vietnam war movement and polarised America by joining the Nation of Islam and becoming a Muslim. Long after his career in the ring has ended he continues to inspire others with his humanity.

Icon have now signed a licensing agreement with Muhammad Ali Enterprises LLC to publish a series of official Muhammad Ali cards. 14 greeting cards featuring photos and quotes from ‘The Greatest of All Time’ have been released in March 2011 to coincide with the 40th Anniversary of 'The Fight of The Century'.

The Icon range of Muhammad Ali cards are beautifully designed and produced. Iconic as well as previously unpublished photographs of ‘The Greatest’ are combined with humorous and inspirational quotes from Muhammad Ali to capture some of the great moments in Ali’s life, from his early years as Olympic gold medallist through to his epic encounters with Sonny Liston, Joe Frazier and George Foreman.

As well as covering iconic and historical sporting moments, such as 'The Rumble in The Jungle' and 'The Thrilla in Manila' the collection also reveals Ali in his more private moments as he prepared for some of his greatest challenges. Iconic, inspirational, humorous and often profound; this desirable and collectable range of greeting cards truly captures the spirit of Muhammad Ali.
