Mulch Brothers Release New Single

(Free-Press-Release.com) May 27, 2010 -- (Nashville, TN.) “Everybody Loves Summertime,” but few people more so than Mark and Nick Mulch. And nowadays they’re singing about it. Their new single is already being requested on their tour, after only having been released a few days ago. The name of their tour—of course—“Everybody Loves Summertime Tour 2010.”

Whether it is Nick, who came from land-locked Kalamazoo, Michigan or Mark, from Ocean County, New Jersey, the duo evoke nostalgia for the warmest of seasons, filtered through summertime staples of convertibles with their tops down and bikini-clad girls soaking up rays on the beach.

“It’s impossible to grow up and not love the summer,” says Mark. “For me it was always growing up at the beach. The boardwalk in Seaside Heights, New Jersey is still one of my favorite places on earth.”

“Or is there anything more perfect than summertime in Michigan?” interjects Nick. “I grew up less than an hour to Lake Michigan and I still love camping up in the dunes and sitting round the camp fire, playing guitar with my friends on the beach.”

If the two have idealized the summertime experience, their fans share their feelings. As the Mulch Brothers say in the song, they invite their audiences from California to Alabama, from the Great Lakes to the shores of the Carolinas to celebrate the season.

“Everybody Loves Summertime” is the first single that the Mulch Brothers have recorded under the label Savannah Records, a division of Savannah Music Group, Inc. The track was produced by Dave Gibson, president and chief creative officer of Savannah. Gibson was formerly the lead singer of the Gibson-Miller band, winner of an Academy of Country Music Award. Now a respected music producer, Gibson knew he wanted to sign the Mulch Brothers when he first heard them in 2008. “These are guys who not only were successful as independents, but who harmonize well and have built a natural audience. That’s rare, even in Music City.

“I knew I wanted to work with them and help them develop their talent,” he adds.
