Multi-Functional ADSL Tester Supports a Long Transmission Distance

Toronto, Canada -GAO Instruments (www.GAOInstruments.com) has announced the availability of its compact multi-functional ADSL tester which supports ADSL 2+ (G.992.5), ADSL2 (G.992.3) and RE-ADSL (Annex L) and is also downwards compatible with ADSL (G.DMT, G.Lite, T1.43) line standards. It is intended for ADSL/ADSL 2+ installation, maintenance and measurement. This powerful tester is commonly used for field testing including upstream or downstream rate measurement, error count, DMM, MODEM simulation, and ping and trace testing.
This multi-functional ADSL tester, model A0300011, supports a maximum transmission distance of 6.5km. It determines the type of an ADSL line being tested, automatically matches the ADSL line standard and then carries out tests accordingly with a simple push on the "Auto Test" key. Test results can be uploaded, saved and printed through Test Manager Pro Software.The ADSL tester's embedded software is upgradable via an integrated RS-232 interface. It offers a high resolution backlit LCD screen and displays ADSL line connections on a real-time basis. What's more, the ADSL tester can be powered using an automobile adapter.
