Multilingual Books announced today that it will give away at least 2,000 free language courses valued at $100,000 to libraries throughout Canada. These downloads can be used for any purpose.

Multilingual Books announced today that it will give away at least 2,000 free language courses valued at $100,000 to libraries throughout Canada. These downloads can be used for any purpose.

To qualify, submit a sentence or two explaining why it is important to learn a foreign language to sales@multilingualbooks.com by March 31, 2011. The downloads offered include the comprehensive Foreign Service Institute language courses, the popular Audio libros audio books, and the renowned Platiquemos Spanish course.

Kenneth Tomkins, president of Multilingual Books, said today, "We are happy to announce this giveaway. We know how language demand is soaring for libraries, and also how strapped their budgets can be. This is an opportunity for us to help."

Each library can receive up to $1,000 in downloads.
