The WorldHelpforHaiti.org is a movement mobilizing musicians globally to organize performances and donate 100% of proceeds to three reputable agencies helping Haiti: the UN, Clinton’s Haiti Relief Fund, and the Red Cross. We are a movement, not a charity and we do not accept money. The organization has been endorsed by Cat Stevens/Yusuf Islam, who is among the many musicians staging performances to benefit Haiti.

The organization was the brain child of Thomas R. Smith, founder/chairman of 16six.com, a capital investor/business consulting firm. The organization was brought to fruition through his work as well as that of writer Carolyn Cott and web developer Sanjeev Dahiwadkar, president/CEO of IndiSoft.

How it works: Orchestras, ensembles, street musicians, rock bands set their event time and venue, register the event with www.WorldHelpforHaiti.org, promote the event through social and other electronic media and print media, and donate 100% of proceeds to United Nations Central Emergency Response Fund, Bill Clinton’s Haiti Relief Fund for Haiti, and the American Red Cross International Response Fund.
