Mutamba Projects International Culminates 2009 With an Entrepreneurial Award.

December 23, 2009 - Lucia Kudielela Fernandes, Founder and General Executive of Mutamba Projects International participated at the African Entrepreneurship & Leadership Awards 2009, which Mutamba Projects International was the recipient of one of the Best African Enterprises 2009, in the Atlanta area. The event was organized by the African Entrepreneurship Institute & Fund, a company that is committed to promoting entrepreneurship through educational events such as seminars, and conferences.

Several people attended the banquet including African business owners, leaders, professionals, and members of several community organizations. Ms. Fernandes remembers, “It was a privilege to be among people that believe in community and economic growth. At Mutamba Projects International we believe in creating, promoting, and implementing projects that bring value to people’s lives. Ms. Fernandes stated that 2009 was a year of many ups and downs for her business, but it culminated with a pleasant surprise, the award. On the other hand, we closed down a business location that was open for over two years. In fact, this strategic decision was taken to cope with the current economic situation.”

Lucia confesses that with this new accomplishment she is inspired to pilot Mutamba Projects International to the next level of operations, financial success, and social responsibility. She believes that 2010 will bring even more lucrative opportunities for her business.
