Miami, Florida, United States of America (Free-Press-Release.com) November 27, 2011 -- Muzique Magazine (www.muziquemagazine.com ) seeks a personable, creative, results-driven Sales Manager to identify advertisers and strategic partners, structure and close revenue-producing deals, and manage ongoing relationships.

We are looking for a resourceful person who doggedly seeks out focused opportunities. This is a full-time position, and we intend to hire a qualified candidate as soon as possible. The location is flexible for the right person.

Job Description:

Muzique Magazine Sales Manager will play a pivotal role in establishing strategic partnerships. We are a highly collaborative organization and seek someone to work closely and cooperatively with our current staff. The Sales Manager will report to the CEO and will work closely with the CEO, and other staff. This person will be part of Muzique Magazine management team.
This is an exciting time at Muzique Magazine and we’re looking for someone who can quickly build on the organization’s successes, playing a hands-on role in building the organization’s streams of earned income.

Responsibilities Include:

Advertising
• Develop and manage Muzique Magazine advertising program, including identifying prospects, developing sales materials, and overseeing all aspects of advertising sales.
• Produce surveys and other research vital to a successful advertising program.
• Supervise advertising sales personnel.

Other
• Work with teams focused on content, production and technology to implement solutions on the Muzique Magazine website and in email newsletters.
• Oversee a small but growing staff and consultants as appropriate
Applicants should have:
• 5-8 years of Sales experience, with a passion for closing deals and managing ongoing relationships
• Proven success creating reliable project budgets and financial models
• Exceptional verbal and written communication
• Strong organizational and time-management skills

• Superior ability to multi-task, and manage multi-faceted projects
• Strong skills in Microsoft Office
• Ability to thrive as a member of a multi-disciplinary team


The successful candidate will be a self-starter with an energetic personality who is comfortable working both independently and as part of a team. Experience and contacts in the corporate, progressive, and media worlds are a plus. The Sales Manager will preferably work out of our Florida office, but other arrangements may be considered for an exceptional candidate.
