Deon and his uncle Durl Jenkins move to Miami Florida to escape economic hardship. Upon entering the management office of the Community Choice Apartments (their new home), an angry tenant storms in complaining about several months of plumbing problems. However, this doesn’t halt the Jenkins family as they sign the lease and move right in. Durl having $20 cash in his pocket suggests that he and Deon put their money together and use it to furnish their apartment. Deon, naive to his uncle’s nature, handed over his cash and awoke hours later to a fully furnished home! Feeling content and at ease he decides to start his day with a walk to the corner store along with his new found friend slim. The same store that Community Choice Apartments resident/water department employee Mr. Jones decided to visit. You see, Mr. Jones was in the process of moving and someone had broken into his van, stealing all of his furniture. He vented his frustration while in the store. Meanwhile….. Back at the complex, the apartment manager Mr. Carter had finally placed a call to the water department to have the water problem fixed. The call was dispatched to Mr. Jones whom after making his rounds, stopped at the Jenkins’ apartment to make the last repair. When unsuspecting Deon opened the door to let him in, Mr. Jones recognized all of his furniture and went after him with a plunger in hand.

Based on a true story, about false people in true scenarios in false places, My Crackhead Uncle……There’s 1 In Every Family was directed by Actor/Comedian Steve Turner and is distributed by Universal Studios. The main characters include Hamptonio & Steve Turner. It also features Jacquell Lawson and Brandon "Lil Tone" Mosley. Released October 14th 2011, the rated R comedy film is about Durl Jenkins, a reputed drug abuser who attempts to start a new life in a new city. Durl Jenkins, played by Hamptonio is an old school well dressed reputed drug abuser who decides to move to a new city along with his nephew, to start a new life. Deon Jenkins played by Steve Turner is a naïve young man trying to maneuver his way in South Beach. Keisha, played by Jacquell Lawson is Lil Tone’s baby momma, a thick framed home daycare provider who likes Deon. Lil Tone, played by Brandon Mosley is Keisha’s baby daddy, a well known drug dealer who serves Durl, sets him up, and then beats up Deon. My Crackhead Uncle….There’s 1 In Every Family is the story of a discoursed middle aged man who encounters a sobriety relapse in his new neighborhood. Durl Jenkins is an old school well dressed, older male who was disliked by the entire neighborhood. That is, everyone except Community Choice Apartments security guard, Gary Webb. He begins the story with he and his nephew Deon arriving to Florida ready to his embrace their new lives in a whole new city. He meets Lil Tone a neighborhood drug dealer and attempts to sell him an old lawnmower before outright asking him for drugs. Lil Tone’s plans come to a head when he encounters Durl’s nephew Deon in his baby momma’s house. Lil Tone pays a minister to lure Durl into a restaurant and talk him into handing over the drugs while meanwhile, back at the complex, he beats up his nephew Deon. Deon is saved when Gary finds him lying on the ground and picks him up, taking him home.
The DVD release also includes a hot soundtrack of 19 songs featuring recording artists Kollage, who sings the theme song entitled "My Crackhead Uncle", Fish Skale of Zoe Pound, T Flave and Mr. Stay Crunk.
