Nancy Noriega To Lead The American Marketing Association, Central Florida Chapter
American Marketing Association's Central Florida Chapter Taps First Hispanic Female President

(June 8, 2010 - Orlando, FL) The American Marketing Association - Central Florida (AMA- CFL) has named Nancy Noriega, founder and president of Nn Marketing, to lead the association for the next year.
Noriega, whose term officially begins July 1, 2010, will replace outgoing President Karen Kovalsky and become the first Hispanic female to hold the association's highest leadership position. Noriega has been an AMA-CFL Board Member since 2008 and served as Vice President of Membership in 2009.
During her tenure, Noriega plans to focus on increasing the brand awareness of AMA-CFL by targeting professionals, businesses and students. She also intends on increasing membership, particularly at the collegiate level.
"I envision AMA becoming the motivational, professional development arm for businesses," she says. "I also plan to show the the value of the organization to students via campus visits and introduce a Scholarship Competition Award." Noriega also will develop a series of traveling workshops (Journey of Knowledge) with focused topics driven by sponsor needs, including topics such as The Women of AMA, Career Opportunities, Personal Branding, Small Business Marketing, Hispanic Marketing, and others.
Nn Marketing, an Orlando, Florida-based firm, offers marketing, branding, and public relations consultancy services for small to mid-size businesses. Noriega says she specializes in innovative marketing and communications solutions.
