What to look for in an ethical Naples property management company:
1) Uses licensed and insured vendors for all repairs.
2) Verifiable licenses for the repairs that are to be completed. (e.g. contractors licenses are needed for repairs in Collier county for: painting, carpet replacement, drywall, etc).
3) Upon request, any vendor should provide you a standard list of fee's and how their charges are billed for any job they complete.
4) If the company hires 1099 subcontractors, each contractors licensing should be proudly displayed on the bill.

5) Broker(s) and/or Principals of your management company do not own or have an interest in any company providing services . If a Broker/Principal owns a company that is a licensed/insured vendor, this relationship should be disclosed to you upon the initiation of your Naples property management services.

What to look for in an unethical Naples property management company:

1) Brokers/Principals of the unethical management company will own or have an interest in the company doing repairs on your home (conflict of interest). Is this illegal, maybe not. 3) Unethical property management companies will have will have licensed companies perform work outside of their license.
