Norcross, GA - Narconon of Georgia announced today that they are providing free drug information pieces to health care practitioners as the next step of their 2013 Drug Awareness Campaign. These drug information pieces are designed for public display in waiting rooms of practitioners' offices. To date, thousands of drug education brochures have been sent to chiropractic offices, medical offices and other health care practitioner offices, and there are still more orders to fill.

œWe have patients with family members who are substance abusers. Often families aren't educated on the ramifications of the drug(s) their family member is taking and don't realize the seriousness of the problem. Education is the first step. We are also handing out these brochures to parents, so they can educate their children and prevent them from using drugs in the first place. So far, the response to these educational pieces has been positive and we plan to continue to provide these to our clients, reported a local Chiropractic office.

Ji Johnson, Narconon of Georgia Community Ambassador, explains why he thinks waiting rooms of practitioners are a good place for drug education literature, œMost people read something while they are waiting to see a doctor or a health practitioner. In today's world, drug addiction is one of the most important topics to learn about, because anyone can be affected. We can reach individuals who might not otherwise be exposed to this kind of information or who might not take the time to read about it with their busy schedule. Also, if someone personally has a substance abuse problem, reading about the dangerous side effects may prompt them to speak immediately to their practitioner.

œI have been with the Narconon network for many years and 2013 is proving to be one of our biggest in terms of getting the word out to thousands and thousands of people about the dangers of drugs abuse. We would like our campaign to expand faster than the drug abuse epidemic is. It is the only way to turn the tide, says Johnson.

Drug education pamphlets are available for almost any drug including synthetics drugs, prescription drugs, marijuana, heroin, cocaine and others. The information includes the signs of abuse and the side effects of the drug. The brochures are colorful and easy to understand.

Orders for the free drug information brochures can be placed by visiting http://www.drugsno.com/drug-info-brochure/ or calling 877-413-3073. Orders will be filled and sent out within the week.
