Nashville Religion Communicators Council Embraces the Social Networking Scene

Nashville, Tennessee, United States of America (Free-Press-Release.com) October 26, 2011 -- Recently, the Nashville Religion Communicators Council (RCC) entered the Facebook social scene to find a number of people interested in their cause. “It was a pleasant surprise to see such a great response from people,” says President of the Nashville chapter, Rev. Brian Fesler of the Church of Scientology.

The profile has been up just a couple weeks, and so far has nearly 500 friends, and the number is growing fast.

“Our goal with the Religion Communicators Council is to spread the word about issues of interest to religious communities, and Facebook has made that a fast and easy task,” continues Fesler.

The Religion Communicators Council was formed in 1929 and is the oldest network of religion communicators in the country. It is an interfaith association of religious workers who deal in print and electronic communication, advertising and public relations. RCC includes 13 local chapters in various cities around the country. Local chapters meet regularly for programming and networking.
